I have been teaching chemistry for 21 years, 15 of those at Lakewood. I love the way chemistry follows patterns and how we can use mathematics to explain the chemical world. I am passionate about scientific literacy and desire that all my students will be able to evaluate scientific information in their future lives. I'm very interested in using technology to enhance learning and have become particularly interested in flipped classrooms.
I earned my Bachelor's degree at the University of Alberta in Canada with concentrations in Textile Science and Textile Conservation. I earned my Master's Degree at Cornell University with a major in Fiber Science and a minor in Chemistry.
